Thailande - Phuket: 52 touristes secourus au large de la côte de Koh Gai.

The boat began taking on water off the coast of Koh Gai. Staff began bailing the seawater out of the boat, and the captain, Winai Chairab, 40, called the Andavaree tour company and arranged for two nearby boats to come and pick up the tourists. One boat then took 26 of the tourists to Phi Phi, and the remaining 21 were brought back to Phuket.“At 9.30am this morning, the speedboat picked up 52 people – including 47 tourists and five staff – from Chalong Pier to take them to Phi Phi island. When they were approaching Koh Gai in Krabi, there were big waves that hit the bottom of the boat and damaged it. Everyone was safe,” said Pol Capt Chatchai Sakdee from the Phuket Marine Police.
